I am a student by trade, studying Theology at the University of Manchester. I spent my gap year volunteering as a Disability Support Worker at the University of Bradford. This had the happy consequence that I lived on campus, attended lectures, ran student societies and generally lived like a student, but without having to study or take any exams. I was reluctant at first, but I have somewhat fallen in love with Bradford. It's a wonderful city.
I am very interested in social and political activism. The world is full of suffering and injustice, against people, animals and our planet. It is incumbent on all of us to leave this world better than how we entered it. Activism is my rent for living on Earth.
I also enjoy Latin, self-sufficency, and geeky t-shirts. Much of my time is trying to work out how to make money from my interests so I can devote all my time to them.
